WOW, Karen - this is exactly what it feels like standing next to your best friend, feeling his warmth and the gentle sun coming in through the stable window while listening to the soothing sound of him chewing hay. Sorry - I just got carried away by this unique and wonderful capture.

Why thank you Kirsten. You read my mind, for this is how I feel. I sit at the barn while the horses eat and so enjoy the sounds and smells. Nothing smells as good as a horse and just being in their company is so soothing.

Karen, this is stunning! It's an image I'd jump at to put on my walls! I totally agree with you and Kirsten! There's nothing better than sitting in the barn and taking in the sounds and smells. Lets don't forget the gentle nudges from their nose to remind you to give them scratches.
