El Perro de Guanajuato
A subcategory in our recent trip to Central Mexico turned out to be "Dogs" - roof dogs, window dogs, street dogs. This little guy was hanging out a window of his house in the city of Guanajuato, watching people struggle up the alleyway to their respective residences.

Thanks for your positive input - Janine, Dan, Dorann, John, Terri and Jeff. This was actually an easy find, since I was one of the people struggling uphill in the narrow alleyway that led to our rental apartment, and el perro was often perched on his window ledge watching panting humans go by. I greatly appreciate all of your comments!

Adorable!! Love all the textures in this shot. I actually lived in Guanajuato for a summer about five years ago and absolutely loved it. Charming town, isn't it?

Muchas Gracias, Nancy Grace, Tarun and Tami! Nancy - OMG, how lucky you were to actually live in Guanajuato for a whole summer. It's not easy to explain to someone who has not visited there how very beautiful, historically and culturally rich, uniquely "serpentine", and incredibly fun this city is! Especially with camera in hand!
