I've been trying to get a flare like that for a year, unsuccessfully! Is this due to small aperature or some sorta star filter. Anyway, nice one!

Thanks everyone for commenting. The sunburst is obtained by shooting at smaller apertures (f22 in this case). It also helps if the focus is on the sun. Your lens and any filters should be clean and free of dust.
