Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. Jack is a former shelter dog. I originally photographed him (well over a year ago)when he lived at the shelter. He was very frightened, nervous, extremely shy and had been abandoned. I would often think about him and wonder how was doing. I knew he got adopted but not much else. I was thrilled to hear from his new owner, a wonderful woman who loves him so much. And then to see him again and photograph him again ... it was the best. He looked so beautiful and happy. And although he is still a bit shy, he really "opened up" and allowed me "in." For me, it doesn't get any better than this!
