The shot was taken at Maymoor Park in Redmond, WA during the FSA Grand Prix event. To create this image I set the camera to shutter priority to force a shutter speed suitable for panning. I spot metered the track and added +1 exposure compensation to adjust for the bright track but to also underexpose the riders.

David Pitcher 		  Thanks Darla! This was my first attempt at panning and I found that the telephoto was easier to pan than the wide angle.
