Frank Fetch Park


	Frank Fetch Park Frank Fetch Park is an urban oasis in German Village. Comprising an eighth of a city block and owned by the city of Columbus, it is maintained by the German Village Garden Club. Frank fetch was one of a group of residents of Columbus' near south side who went to the city government in 1960 and pleaded for the area not to be plowed under. Fortunately they were successful and German Village is now an outstanding example of historic preservation accomplished without public funds. The park is truly a peaceful, beautiful place. Photo taken in color with an Hoya R72 filter. Channel swapping and color adjustments applied in Photoshop CS2. David Phalen
