Mt. Hood
70-300mm zoom at long end. As the Mountain looked about three weeks ago (70 miles from home). The vertical streak in the center below the volcano cone is a ski lift, the dark spot below it is the famous Timberline Lodge! Not my best mountain shot – but a reminder of our precarious existence.....and the insignificance of those structures.

Marie Mans 		  My apologies for being so very late replying to your kind comments on my photographs. Have been away from my e-mail and finally catching up. Much appreciated that you picked two of my favorites “Mt.Hood” and ‘Iris Heart”.

Looking at your gallery, I am amazed at the many photographs you exhibit – they looked so great I got inspired and got a “Premium” Gallery too (so far, all my photos originate from classes I’ve been taking).
Particularly like your variations on a theme : The variety of abstract flowers, different horse shots, your dog “Missy”. …(see my note there – I am just beginning to find my way around this system..) Thanks much again for picking out my favorite photos.
