Very good image. What film was this taken on? Doesn't look like Velvia. Needs to be!

Beautiful indeed! Love all the different tones of blue. They all go together nicely to bring out the color of the boat and it's refelction. Great job!

I think I like this version better than the cropped/vertical shot. This one says "lonely" better. Nice work, Aslan.

This is such a breathtakingly beautiful photo. I'm a beginner and am having alot of trouble shooting water. I'm trying to get an even reflection like the one here, but the water's always moving or there's a glare, blurriness, haze or shine to the water. Could anyone tell me some tips for this? What settings, filters, lenses to use? Thanks! Again, gorgeous work, Aslan!

Hi Alice,Go in the morning when the sun is low and the water is VERY still. Make sure that that the wind is not blowing AT ALL>You can try using a polarizer for effect. If the sun is in the corner of your right or left eye, the polarizer will work. Use a wide angle lens such as a 28mm for landscape photos. Good luck!
