Very nice, Donna. I think I've seen your work here before, right? I've been to this spot and will return in June, but I can't capture the scene as nicely as you do. I like the dark corners and the stream flowing diagonally through the picture and the long exposure...slow film? Very crisp picture, keep up the good work!\ MoKnowsPhotos.com

Thanks for the kind words. I'm fairly new here, just started submitting to the contest last month. The Smokies are my favorite place in the world, so I go as often as I can. I have tons of photos from there and just a few that are really nice. Keep trying and you'll get some really nice ones from there too. This photo was probably taken with 200 or 400 Fuji film because I take fast film to do wild flowers with so I can hand hold. I used my tripod with a long exposure and a small aperture.

Thanks Carolyn. Green is my favorite color. There in The Smokies you can certainly see every shade and texture of green things that you could ever possibly imagine!
