It's great hearing from you, and thanks so much for your comments ... I'm glad that you like this image!!

By the way, this photo was shot on the pond at my country micro-mini-ranch :-) But for such a "simple" scene, it turned out to be much more difficult than I thought! When I first visualized this photo, it was at midday - very little color, very harsh light, no satisfying photo. So I planned to simply return and catch this little scene with bold sunset colors and reflections - after all, it's just a short walk from my house. Well, that was easier said than done! Between strong winds and low-on-the-horizon clouds, the conditions were "wrong" for almost a week. Finally, though, everything came together for what you see here. I used my 80-200mm telephoto in order to zoom in tight on the best parts.

I know what you mean. Living in such a windy area like Oklahoma, I am discovering myself how challenging can be to take a picture under those conditions. Thank you for the information about the technical part. I appreciate it.
