AWESOME shot, Penny! Stage photography is quite difficult. I've shot with the same 1600 ISO for Ballets. It is wonderful when you get a good shot. Perfect moment and GREAT angle! The color is mesmerizing. BRAVO!

Wow! Thank you everyone for your kind words. Flash photography wasn't allowed for this event. These little ladies stood still just long enough as if to wait for me to take the shot. The Minolta 7D also has the non-jiggle feature. Wasn't necessary to bring a tripod. Great fun!

What I'm amazed about is you were able to shoot at 1600ISO and get such a clean image...no NOISE! WOW! I only wish my Nikon would do that well.
Now for the shot itself, composition is perfection and lovely colors too. Well done!
