Evie is less than a year old. She came to me as a tiny stray kitten, about eight inches long, in late January of this year. My 11 year old cat, Sugar had passed away in November after a long illness, and thousands of dollars in vet bills. I waited a couple of months after her death, and adopted my brown tabby, Tommy, from a local no-kill shelter. Evie showed up on my door steps 2 weeks later. I went from 4 cats to 3 cats, back to 4, and Evie made 5! I have a rescued German Shepherd, also, and help take care of a colony of feral cats. I guess you could call me an animal rescuer, as well as an animal lover:) Sam

Evie is presious!! I feed strays myself and anything else on the property! I am sorry about Sugar--I lost Amos to cancer after a brief illness a month ago and Andi a few months before that. Amos looked like Evie with those beautiful green eyes!

What a gorgeous kitty!!! Look at those eyes! Wow! Sam, I have a male long haired black cat. He is 15 now and has white hairs in his face from old age. His name is POOKEY...slang for SPOOKY I guess...but we ALSO all him Mr. Cuddles! Such a beauty Evie is! Great job! -Laura :)))
