Dedicated to Gail Vitikacs, a special person and wonderful photographer. I had such fun learning from her.

Thanks Gail!

Hey Richard, when I saw this picture, I figured Gail gave you one of hers and you posted it. :-) Nice tribute to an excellent photographer. And you did a fantastic job on this image.

Richard, how thoughtful of you to dedicate this to Little g. She certainly deserves it! It is such a pretty scene and you did a nice job composing it. A couple of thoughts for your consideration, some of the highlights appear to be blown out which you can probably recover if you're shooting in RAW, if not a shadows/highlight adjustment in PS might help. Secondly, be sure and watch your edges. The bright dead branch in the upper corner pulls the eye away from the main subject and becomes a distraction to what you're trying to convey. Good eye to spot this and recognize it as a great subject. :)

Thank you so much Ken, Gail, Carla, Gary, Tammy, Dennis and Cora! You all are so kind, and I truly appreciate your comments!
Ken, what a great compliment, thinking this was one of Gails! :)
Gail, you are quite welcome; you are quite the photographic passion encourager! :)

Cora, I am grateful for the insightful thoughts and suggestions; I feel priveleged to have such a talented eye's critique. I am capturing more photos in RAW lately, but unfortunately this was not one of them. :( I will, however, see what I can do about those distracting branches in Photoshop Elements...
Thanks again for the tips!
