The eyes have it!
F11, 160 sec. with flash, 105 mm. lense. cat's face.First, I adjusted levels, made a multiply layer painting back to darken highlights. Did a screen layer with paint back to lighten eyes. I burned areas of fur. I erased back to expose eye color and used hue/sat to add green.

This is a fantastic image. I too have a D100 and am always excited to see images taken with same camera...Did you use Adobe Photoshop to manipulate it? Thanks for sharing.
