La Huasteca

la huasteca

The city of Monterrey is completely surrounded by
mountains. La Huasteca in particular has a peculiar
rock formation that resembles filigree.

A circular polarizer was used at 90 degrees from
the sun axis for maximum effect. The image was
captured about one hour before sunset.

The dramatic impact of this image is amazing. The small area of sun is dazzling and the polorized blue sky sets off the mountain tops beautifully. Great job, Arturo.!!
