Here it is! Been looking for this shot. Love this, Donna. I've been planning to try shooting through a screen as well. Did you have to compensate in exposure at all for the screen? Nice job.

  Hi Piper, Thanks, This photo did not require any kind of meter compensation. I was outside shooting into a totally shaded porch and exposed just like a portrait with the camera on a tripod. Easy exposure. TIP; From my experience, I found that the white screens give the picture a softer more impressionistic look whereas a black screen is harsh. I would not use a black screen for a womans portrait. IT is better for a street scene or possibly an urban landscape. Be creative and experiment to see what you like. Beveled glass is another way to create dramatic results. Good LUCK! You are doing great. I can see that Brian Petersons workshop was worth every penny spent!!!!
