Taken at the DC American Indian Museum from the upstairs balcony overlooking the main floor. Sigma 105mm macro lens, settings unrecorded. Some cropping, color adjustment, and sharpening in PS 7.0.

This photo really tells a story. I feel nourished just looking at it. Nice angle, beautiful colors, great subject.

Thank you, Barbara. I was so lucky in the position of the woman and the way she was dressed ... even to the gift bag at her side. I had never used the macro lens for anything but macro until that day, but we stopped at the Indian Museum on our way to an orchid exhibit... I was so astounded at the sharpness of the lens, handheld, though I did have a railing for some support. I didn't get any decent orchid shots, but this one is a personal favorite. I appreciate your comment.

You are so right...The American Indian Museum is an amazing photo op in many ways, which certainly helps the amateur's odds! :-)
