United We Stand
I took this photo during Christmas 2005 in front of New York hotel, Las Vegas. It was about 4:30 p.m. and the sun was setting. Some cars drove by which created quite a few red tail lights. The shutter speed was 4 seconds, aperture at F/7.1. The composition came out very nice with all those vibrant colors. This photo reminds me of the 9/11 incidence in New York. The terrorists destroyed the twin towers in New York on 9/11/2001 and broke our hearts. However, they cannot break our spirits. My heart goes out for the victims and their families. The Stature of Liberty standing there, together with these NY icon buildings conveys the message from the bottom of my heart: “United We Stand? thank you.
