Darn good photo, you were fortunate to get the bird without it being in a cage. So many times that is a major problem to get a photo of a bird with great colors like this one. Des

gorgeous portrait! nice DOF, beautiful bird. Isn't that one of those Macaws that are a cross of Blue-Gold and Scarlets? I can't rememeber the name of it, though...
