Photographed in Washington, DC at the Tidal basin, dawn, in April of this year. Image levels and sharpness correction as well as a bandstand in front of the memorial removed using Photoshop 7.0 Every spring Washington, DC is graced with a spectacle that draws tourists and photographers from around the world. Happily the cherry blossoms in the Mall are only a short drive away from me.

Stephen, I am a big fan of your photographs. This is so nice. We were hoping to get down to D.C. this year to see the cherry blossoms but it didn't work out. My son did get to go, he too lives close by. I enjoy your gallery very much. Thanks for sharing these great shots.
