Thank you Mette - I was actually underground in the observation area, and not underwater. This is one of the aquariums in Monterey California. They have a fantastic jelly fish exhibit- there is a picture of it in my gallery if you are interested. I highly recommend visiting the Monterey Aquarium. The only better one I've ever been to is at Atlantis in Nassau. -G

Nice shot, Gunther. My favorite aquarium! Did you see the batfish (orange starfish-looking creature) over by the ray pool? My favorite is the anchovy tank. Can't wait to get back to Monterey again just to visit the aquarium with a better digital camera! I took all my shots last trip with a dinky 1.3mp POS digicam, so the better shots are really unusable for anything but the web.

Very nice job getting the light streaks and keeping detail at the same time.

Thanks Piper! It was a great aquarium. I'll be moving to San Diego, so I'll be able to capture some shots at the Sea World aquarium soon. The jelly fish exhibit was my favorite at Monterey! -G
