John, That is one cool thing you have going there!! But I am still not sure what you screw it into? Do you drill into your tripod mount that you take on and off your camera? I don't think you mean that you drill into the bottom of your camera? Btw your gallery is very helpful! Thanks, She-She Killough

The thumbscrew fit into the bottom of the camera, the threads are the same as a tripod. You drill through the thumbscrew to attach the chain to the thumbscrew. Check PhotoID: 1865341. It really works! John
