Taken at an outdoor festival with a Nikkor 80-200mm, 1/160 sec at F6.3.Increased contrast and saturation by merging several layers with different curve adjustments in different merge modes, erasing all but the best tonal areas of each layer (for instance the hands from one layer over another). Warmed up the color using Vivid Details Test Strip and AutoFX Mystical TTC. Then applied an Alchemy filter in Corel Photo-paint modifying brush shape, size, angle and opacity settings until I created a painterly look that still retained detail and lent a sense of movement to the image.
