I took a bunch of sharpened colored pencils, placed them in a wide glass and spread them around.I stacked the glass on a block for height. I put some playdough on the bottom of the center pencil to keep it in place. The background is a white sheet. I Used outdoor lighting. The picture is cropped a bit since I dont have a lens that will go close enough. I also played with layers in Photoshop to make the background whiter so the glass won't show as much.
