It certainly is a great shot. I love all those colours of the spices. I trust he or someone else is still around selling in a shop like this and will be for years to come. It would be a travesty to see a supermarket in his place.

Rakesh. Love the expression on his face, & all the colorful spices. That's what camera's are to me, (recorders of history, & split seconds of life) as I told my husband -they are a time catcher, kinda' like a time machine. To me, they are the greatest of inventions!! :)

Absolutely stunning, Rakesh...my dad took almost this exact shot in bw 60 years ago when he was stationed in India. I love the seamlessness of culture around the world! GREAT job!

What an excellent street shot Rakesh! The sacks of piled high spices behind him look like hugs crayons. The colours of them are brilliant and I can just imagine the wonderful auroma! Lots to like in this shot!
