As usual, I'm behind on my thanks! I so appreciate all of your comments! Michelle, that's nice of you to say. I always use the channel mixer and adjustment layers for curves/levels/contrast now in case anything blows out and I need to erase it back. I didn't know anything about adjustment layers when I converted this, so I think I just used one layer to convert with the channel mixer and curves. I had this one printed and the blown (or blocked) shirt doesn't look bad, but I probably wouldn't convert this way on purpose anymore as I much prefer to see more detail now that I have a better feel for what I like.
