Old Beggar
While I was in Hong Kong, I walked a lot with my Minolta Maxxum 7000 and Vivitar tripod in tow. I chanced upon this early morning scene and knew that I had to take the shot. With a heavy heart and a photographer's mind I quickly squeezed a couple of shots, carefully composing the scene. Exposure details unrecorded although I remembered using a Fuji Provia slide film on that trip.

Thanks Cathy and Pat. Thanks also to Cathy for visiting my gallery. Yup, Sanjay already emailed me and praised the shot. He also provided me the link to his gallery and saw his winning shot.

Thanks Bob. I agree with you, sometimes it's just hard to capture life in all it's variations but we have to do it. We record life as it happens.

This is a wonderful shot! The heavy heart is understandable and to be honest, if it weren't there...well... Great capture, Raneil!

Thanks Cristina! Well, you're right but I also believe that telling the story behind the shot helps a lot in understanding the bigger picture. Raneil
