I edited the picture in Photoshop. I created a duplicate layer of the colored background layer. Then I added a layer mask to the black and white layer. The layer mask was equipped with a radial gradation, that allowed the black and white image to show through as you move to the edges of the photo. Sorry for the delay of response, I've been trying to figure out how to navigate the website. Thanks.
