Memorial Reflections
This was captured at the site of the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The opening in the foreground is in one of a pair of Gates bookending the reflecting pool, seen in the middle. You can see the matching "gate" in the background. The times of 9:01 and 9:03 are etched into the Gates, referring to the minutes surrounding the bombing (April 19, 1995). It was an overcast day while we were there, which seemed to match the soberness of this historical site. I thought the black and white coloring would also lend itself to the mood of this image...

Hi Richard - have just had a look at all of your wonderful and diverse images in your gallery. I loved this one in particular (I love buildings and reflections - so it was an easy choice!)
Excellent work!
