Serenade
Bride & Groom at reception. Saw this piano in the reception area and realized it had great photo potential.Photo Shop CS. Steps to create:
1. Down sample image to 175 pixels per inch.
2. Use Clone stamp to remove some distracting details around edges of photo.
3. Replaced plaque on wall with image from my photo stock. Color wooden frame black. Add blur to photo.
4. Render lighting effect using "2'oclock Spotlight"
5. Select groom's head and then inverse select.
6. Apply water color filter with low detail.
7. Inverse selection again so only groom's head selected.
8. Apply water color filter with high detail.
9. Use blur tool to blend the selection area around groom's head.
10. Use the Shadow/Highlights menu to brighten up the image while keeping shadows at proper level. Looks great printed on canvas.

Shane, I took like the effects here and I also appreciate that you took time to tell us how came up with your work of art. I am sure it looks great on canvas - it looks great on my computer screen!!!
