Thanks for the comments. The foreground is a small carousel right across the street from the Eiffel Tower. Not a fancy one, just a cheap carnival-type carousel. I took about a dozen pictures of different perspectives of the tower and carousel. Since I didn't have a tripod, I took advantage of some convenient trees next to the carousel to steady the camera. After I posted this here, I re-postprocessed the image to brighten up the tower a bit and remove the noise that I inadvertantly added the first time around. (I was never really happy with the version you see here.) -Shawn

I like the image - it's terrific. Very clear and great effects. Not sure if you're aware though (just to let you know - not trying to be negative) pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night are copyrighted so be careful if you try to sell. Has something to do with their light show. Congratulations!
