thanks everyone.
Paul:
open the image and make your changes to do it B&W, but do not convert it to grayscale or if you need to, then convert it back to RGB again.
now create a new layer and pick a brown color and fill the new layer with it.
now change the layer mode to hardlight.
flatten the layers and then you have it.

Ok guys - I just showed them an area of the lower mainland, that is interesting, similar to Le Connor Washington State, but not as busy. The artistry is all Danilo!!!!!
