The power station at the Nieuwe Hemweg in Amsterdam./ I made this photo for an article on the greehouse effect. It is really simple, but it took me several days to make it. At first I placed the chimney straight, but that was boring. Then the weather would not be right, or I did somehow not get it. I knew it would be a good photograph, so I kept coming back till it was just the way it should be.
