Another image from a newborn shot I did yesterday. This baby girl has me spoiled. I swear by newborn shots between birth and two weeks....they sleep (well, most of them), and are sooo cooperative! She was just a joy to photograph.f8; 1/400th; 50mm; natural light combined with one strobe. Converted to B&W in PSCS2.

So that's the secret! (catch them before 2 weeks) I did my first newborn shoot and she was 3 weeks, didn't sleep for a second and never stopped moving. Beautiful image.

Beautiful capture Deb! My last newborn shoot was with a 6 day old and he didn't sleep at all. Was very happy, but very active, lol. This is wonderful, love the softness!

Beautiful capture, Deb. I love it when my own son falls asleep on me like this. You must have a special talent... my son is almost 6wks now and I still havn't been able to get him to sleep through a photo shoot.
