I'm sure glad I stopped by your gallery to catch up, cause I would have missed this one entirely! An absolutely beautiful portrait, Dolores! Your daughter is beautiful to begin with, but your technique really makes it something special :-) I can't believe that this isn't in the finals. In fact it should be a first place winner!

Gary, I would say at least 10 of my favorite photos didn't make it to the finalists. I am always a bit shocked at many of the 2nd place winners every month. I would love to see BP have a peoples choice award. I think this is a beautiful photo as well and should have made it further.
