Floral Quadrant
The original image was shot in afternoon light (just before the remnants of a hurricane came through our area, as it turned out)on my deck. It was taken on Provia 100 slide film with a Sigma 105 macro lens, and scanned in a Coolscan IV. I was curious to see how the flowers' rich colors might look as a proportional abstract, so I used cloning, healing brush, levels, curves, layers, cropping, resizing, etc., (Photoshop 7.0) to put this together. Though I know framing images for BP display is not recommended, this one just seemed to need "finishing."

Great job Judith. Looks like something you would see in a art gallery. I agree with Pat as well. Anita
