Sheep Laurel
F/5.5; 1/250 sec.; Adirondack bog; late afternoon. The flower is about 1/2" in diameter. Their color really stands out along the shorelines right now.

What a little beauty! This is so gorgeous. There are some really unusual little flowers up there in your woods, Gordon.

Thank You, Tammy and Marsha! Tammy, I'm learning the value of low-angle sunlight. Colors and shadows always seem to be better in the morning and evening. Marsha, it looks like the spring rush of wild flowers is slowing down. Most of them are becoming berries now. But, there are still the aquatics and a few land-based plants yet to flower. Stay tuned! Thanks, again. Gordon
