These flowers are awesome! My mom has the same plant with the same flowers, and they just started blooming after not blooming for at least a year!
I think it's really interesting how at first there are just the maroon, bell-shaped things, then the brighter red parts grow out!
Good picture, too; good lighting and composition.

Funny how the whole thing falls off, as if it were too heavy for the tiny branch! I've never noticed the pigments until I took this close-up. I like it! Thanks. LMB
