Reflection in the sand
ISO 100, F/16, 1/250sec set, 1/249sec actual, Canon EOS EF 16-35mm 2.8 L @ 17mm, Agate Beach, Newport Oregon, B+W Circular Polarizing filter, 8:26PM PST. The Lighthouse in the distance is Yaquina outside Newport Oregon. I was on a last minute photo getaway and was lucky enough to arrive in time for the sunset with 15 minutes to set up.

Hi Jeff - great snap! I was wondering why you used a polarizer on this scene, when you were shooting in the direction of the sun. Is it because the wide-angle provides a wide enough arc that the skies in the corners and top edge of the frame could be darkened anyways? Kartik
