Glacial Lakes
Taken from Mt. Schaeffer in the Canadian Rockies near Kicking Horse Pass. Lake O'Hara is blue and Mary Lake, several hundred feet higher & shallower, is green.

This very nice. Great perspective. I seriously thought the green in foreground, with the way it is shaped, was a golf course! Nicely done.

Hi Steve! Not sure how I missed this shot in you gallery. I was looking through it tonight and this really caught my eye. What a great perspective on these lakes, and the differing colors based on their depths. Terrific work.. I imagine this hike was fantastic!

Thanks, Dave. This was no hike. I was just below the summit of a mountain the scared the dodo out of me. :) Steve

Naw, I think you still have plenty of dodo left in ya! Great capture, absolutely beautiful colour and dramatic cloud play reflecting in the brilliant waters. Absolutely lovely!
