Military Museums - A March through the past
This is a combination of several images I took at the London, Ontario, Royal Canadian Regiment Military Museum. The main scene containing the manikin soldiers, depicts World War II Italy. The building in the background is a distorted panorama of the horseshoe shaped museum itself, built in 1886 as a barracks for Canada's' Senior serving regular force Infantry regiment, The Royal Canadian Regiment, which is still active today. The road wheels visible in the foreground is from a WWII Tank that sits outside the Museum, and the Medal grouping is from one of Canada's' first Para-troopers.
