For Tyler and Pinal...The photo "Middle of Nowhere" was created by isolating the house on one layer in PS and then applying the motion filter to a duplicate layer of the scene. There are a few more tricks involved in getting the colors to turn out as they did, but I would have to write a book in order to explain them to you. If you experiment a little with PhotoShop you will be able to create all kinds of neat stuff!

You are on the right track. The resulting image is a product of the lens, to capture detail and color, the graphics software program which helps develop the image, and a good smattering of luck with a little bit of skill! Perhaps, trial and error is a good part of it too!

Unfortunately, I don't have the space here to explain every little detail of the process, but at least you will get the basic method I used. Then, it's up to you to use your imagination to create the image you see in your mind.
