Storm break over Balanced Rock
Balanced Rock, Arches National Park, Utah shot with a Nikon D100 and Nikkor 28-200 lens, settings unknown. Image is corrected for levels and sharpness in Photoshop 7.0. This month I spent six days in Moab doing winter hiking and photography. On my last day a storm blew through and cleared at sunset to provide this beautiful scene.

Duane Carter 		  This is spectacular, Stephen!!! Excellent composition with the various elements, but, the lighting is what sets it off to me. The harsh high contrast gives a sense of the feel of this land, and still you have good exposure on the mountains in the BG.
