Stark
The skeleton of a long dead tree, one of only two on rannoch moor in Scotland. This desolate place is truly harsh and unforgiving. I opted to compress the perspective with a 200mm lens enhancing the significance of the background mountains behind. The result surpassed my expectations. Pentax 6x7ii, 200mm, polarizer, F22 at 1 sec, Velvia.

This is incredible, Ian! It looks like a drawing in one of those fantasy books.
