Well...I have been visiting this image since the moment it was uploaded.

I like how precise was the capture as well as the focus.

Since there is a request for a critique feel compelled to tell you that there is not much to critique in this image, but I got a question to make….sort of.

Main light is coming from above denoted by the shadows in the surface and the light in the upper part of the hand.

It is the background what calls my attention. It is a nice green but instead of a homogeneous gradient the light pattern seems to resemble the shape of the hand. The question? Oohhhh….I forgot…I was describing the image to myself and somehow got lost.

Here….was that green background like that or did you enhance it somehow?

Don’t get me wrong. It is not a critique or anything like that. I’m just curious and I’m trying to learn from every post at this site. It is an exercise I do to figure out how an image was done.

Wow thank you everyone. :)

It only took me a few shots to get everything right since I had to take the picture myself also.

Protacio umm well I used a green poster board for the background and used a lamp for the light. I didnt do any effects on the background or the shot but I did clone out something from the shot.
