Pam this is absolutely wonderful! it is the best example of balanced placement I have seen. Excellent work on background, lighting and detail! I would choose this as a winner if it was up to me!!!

Thank you, Glo!!! I'm still slightly partial to "Fall Flying" myself, but I like this shot a lot... You don't think it's too centered? (The birds head is smack dab in the middle of the picture, but I couldn't figure out a way to crop it that fixed that and still looked balanced.) Thanks for the detailed comments! (I really hope the judges like cranes....) Pam

I agree, this picture is all about balance. The division of clouds/sky, and the wings make the center placement of the bird perfect. Karma

Wonderful shot, Pam!!! Gloria and Karma said it all! The crane looks like it's getting ready to either bomb you or land on you :D I saw a peacock bomb someone once...not a pretty sight LOL.
