  Thanks for the congrats guys. Now I will tell you my secret to shooting small furry animals! Nail Gun!

No really, this was an easy shot once I spent some time with Trouble and the rest of the cats. I thought about what would keep a cat interested in staying in front of the camera even though I am being totally annoying with the click click in your face.

The answer: 1000watt work lamps from Home Depot. I made some Home Depot Bees (Home Bees for short) and the warmth of the light made the cats very seditary. This was ISO 200 1/30th sec at f/1.8 on a 50mm lens.

I hope to see lots of cat photos online soon.

For those of you that are intersted in what a "HOME BEE" set up looks like. They are very cheap to make and really good for cats and cold days.
