Excellent still life, Bob! Your set-up and capture is wonderful! The waterfall really brings this shot to life!

Thanks Casey, Dan, and K for your comments. That is the actual name of this picturesque little brook lying within the Catoctin Mountains in central Maryland. It has provided many scenic backgrounds ... (and a few native brook trout) over the years.

I guess that you were fishing and then took this picture? Do you wade when you trout fish? If so, how do you protect your camera? I trout fish and everyone eventually falls in at one time or another. :-)

Great photo, from another Fly fisherman.
I would love to be able to use it for my upcoming national Fly fishing list at yahoogroups. as the front page, full credit of course.

Thanks Jack, David, and RJ for your nice comments.

To RJ,...You can use the "Contact Bob" link on this Comment thread to send me a personal message re:... the specifics on your intended use of this photo. Or, you can reach me via my web site. I am always interested in someone wanting to use one of my photos.

To David,...I can send you a print of this image, or of anything on my web site if you like. You can also use the "Contact Bob" link to send me a personal message and I can give you terms and pricing.

To Jack,...Yes, I wade when trout fishing and YES,..I've taken a few spills.
I carry my photo gear in a back-pack,...with all critical components sealed in Zip-Loc type plastic bags. So far, I haven't ruined anything but there's always the risk when working in and around water.
Bob
