God no!! His/her eye is in perfect focus (to my eye) which drew my attention straight to it and gave me a direct connection to his/her personality (at least the way I connect to humans/animals). By throwing the rest of the face out of focus I got an immediate 'hit' from this photograph. I think it's great! :) You did of course mean to use focus in that way?....didn't you?
