Hello Judith, I was going through your gallery and your work is very beautiful. I love this image here, from the lighting and the way you composed down to the BG, just beautiful. I really like the BG's in your images. If I may ask what do you use? Again your work is very Beautiful!!

Hi Darren, Thanks for the compliment. This is actaully my favorite photo too. For my backgrounds, I use PS7. I usually select the flower so that it will remain untouched and then I create a new layer and use the paintbrush tool to fill in the background with the color I choose. I use varying shades of the same color to make the area surrounding the flower brighter. Hope this helps. I don't do so well at explaining. Thanks for taking the time to look at my gallery. Judy
